Bill Hiram Sexton, 81, of Luther, Oklahoma passed from this life May 3, 2019 at his home. Bill was born September 1, 1937 in Luther, Oklahoma to Hiram and Janie (Harris) Sexton.
​He was the youngest of four children. Bill graduated from Luther high school with the class of 1955. He served our country while in the United States Army from 1962-1964. Bill Married Betty McCartney and their blended family gave them six children. He enjoyed reading, crocheting, loved attending the annual Pow-Wow at Wyandotte, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Emily Prokup and Freda Boydston, and one granddaughter Jessica. He is survived by his loving wife Betty of the home. Brother Raymond Sexton of Austin, Tx. Six children; Marilyn Young (Larry) of Kansas City, KS, Jerry Sexton (Janelle) of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronnie McCartney of Luther, OK, David Spaulding of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Carolyn Keefer (Eddie) of Luther, OK, and Karreen Mathis (Jamie) of Bethany, OK. Nine grandchildren; James Young, Stephanie Markwell, Tyler Mathis, J.T. O’Ryan, Gabrielle Spaulding, Dakota Mathis, Kyle Keefer, Shyanne Keefer, and Caden Mathis. Four Great-granchildren; Alexys Young, Jacob Hawkins, Emily Markwell, Reese Markwell. As well as a host of other family and friends.
