Earl Wesley Burton, went to be with the Lord January 28, 2020 at the age of 75. Earl was born in Luther, Oklahoma to Erskin and Mary Pearl (Watkins) Burton. He graduated from Luther high school with the class of 1962. He worked for General Motors until his retirement. Earl loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, metal detecting, mushroom hunting, and playing horseshoes.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Mary, one son, Steven Burton, one grandson, Daniel Burton, one brother, Paul Burton, and two sisters, Mary Francis and Ollie Mae.

Earl is survived by six children; Wes Burton of Luther, OK, Richard Burton (Tammy) of Luther, OK, Randy Garrett (Lezlie) of Chandler, OK, GeaDawne Buchanan of Luther, OK, Jennifer Fent (Randy) of Luther, OK, and Tom Burton of Oklahoma City, OK.
Grandchildren; Brandon Burton, LaDonna Wilson, LaTessa Roberts, Daisy Burton, Taylor Tarwater, Travis Burton, Shawna Bass, Tawnya Gartner, John Brown Jr., Miranda Brown, GeaDawne Burton, Jodie Burton, Aubrey Buchanan, and Jolene Buchanan. Numerous great grandchildren, two sisters; Ora Mick of Illinois, and Edna Peters of Washington, one brother, David Burton of McLoud, OK, as well as a host of other family and friends.
