Larry Edward Lyon 73 of Luther, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2022. Larry was the eldest of 7 children born to Harold and Eldora Lyon on July 1st, 1948. He joined the Air Force in 1968 serving in Vietnam then went to work for Tinker Air Force Base for 4 years. Larry worked as a mechanic owning his own shop until he retired. Larry married the love of his life Deborah Dalinger in 1968. Larry was a dedicated husband, father, and papa. He was a hard worker and could fix anything. He loved teaching his grandkids how to work on cars and was always full of life lessons. He deeply loved his family and truly loved the life he had.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Eldora Lyon and brother John Lyon.
Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years Deborah Lyon of Luther, Ok, son Cody Lyon and wife Amanda Lyon , grandchildren Makinlee, Kristopher, Harlee, Kodi and Nickolas of Luther, Ok and son Antwan Richardson and wife Stephanie Richardson , grandchildren Quintin, Makayla and Mia of Luther, Ok  Larry was also survived by 5 siblings Mary Dunham of FT. Worth, Texas, Linda Olson of Wellston, Ok, Joanna Boudreaux of Wellston, Ok, Mike Lyon of Wellston, Ok and Lisa O'Feery of Luther, Ok as well as many nieces and nephews.
