Steve Ausmus passed from this life September 28, 2018 at the age of 61. Steve was born in Phoenix, Arizona, April 20, 1957 to Sybil and Edna (Neeld) Ausmus. Steve was known as a people person and loved sports, especially the Texas Longhorns. He loved music and reading the newspaper. He had a strong faith in the Lord and loved his grandkids.

​Steve is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters; Sue Ausmus and Kathleen Bearman. 2 brothers; David Lee Ausmus  and Mike Ausmus. He is survived by his 3 children; Karie Young (Gary) of Moore, OK, Stephen Ausmus Jr. of Oklahoma City, and Josh Ausmus of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren; Darian Young, Kylie Young, Isiah Ausmus, Ezra Ausmus and Malachi Ausmus, as well as a host of other family and friends.

​Services will be Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Church of Christ in Luther, OK burial will follow at the Luther Cemetery.
